I have used you a lot over the years and apart from the occasional hiccup, thing's have generally gone smoothly. My only real bone of contention is the use of DPD as your preferred carrier. DPD, or as it's known in our household "Dog P*ss Deliveries" is the weakest link in your chain and ultimately stops Overclockers from being a 5 star company.
One only has to see the levels of dissatisfaction DPD heaps on to its customers to see they're an ill conceived choice.
I think Overclockers could be better and would be, if only you sourced a better company for your logistics.

As with every delivery company, seems to depend on where you are, will decide the quality of the service unfortunately.,

I've only had issues with 1 DPD delivery and they still came back same day to my property (made sure to add photos etc in the app) so they always leave it in my safe place if I'm not present and so far all good.

Worst delivery company I'd used in the past was EVRI, but even they're decent round me now with a new reliable driver.

Would be nice to have options though to switch to a better service in your area.

OP works for Evri. :p But honestly, DPD are excellent. The lads that deliver for me are so friendly and spot on. Never had a single issue with DPD. Be that delivering or collecting returns. However, it never hurts to give people a choice at checkout, as some online retailers allow. So it might list DPD, Parcelforce, etc. Each commanding a different price for delivery. But for me, if I see DPD, I'm happy.

As others have said, it all depends on who works for them where you live.
There is no clear cut 'if you use X, it'll be fine, everytime'.

No matter the business, there will always be people that hate their job or get stressed, and half arse things. That's just life, and there's no getting away with it.

Funnily enough I stopped using one company because they switched away from DPD... to Evri.

I'm not even convinced there is a company out there with a better overall track record than DPD at the moment? Excluding custom logistics operations, that are way outside of what a B2C could reasonably use.

I don't know what it is with these threads but don't pee your delivery person off, be nice, smile and share a joke with them to break up their stressful monotonous day

My DPD guy Antonio is great, never any issues

Even Evri are good, funnily enough me and the Mrs were wondering what happened to our old Evri delivery guy. He too was very nice and we miss him

Another here that can't really fault DPD.

I used to live very close to a depot and sometimes wouldn't even have the email through before they knocked on my door at 7:30am but other than that they always seem to be in their hour window.

A couple of day delay once when I moved to a new build as they couldn't find the house but that's to be expected when your road and post code don't exist yet on GPS systems

DPD has always been good for me as has most other couriers.

This is a community forum though, so best complain to the actual shop.

Bear in mind that DPD have taken a fairly large (4 figure sum) chunk of money from drivers recently & there's various disputes ongoing so prior performance is no indicator of current performance.

Our "local" driver is exceptionally ****** off and isn't doing overtime while he searches for a new job.

If it isn't DPD or UPS then it's going to be hit or miss if you'll get it, granted no matter who it is if they dump it at your door good chance it'll get taken:
