Uninterrupted Power Supply questions !

Afternoon all, having a fun research project and was wondering on this forum...

Does anyone use UPS ?

If so for what line of work ?

Would you use it for gaming ( from Pro to content creator )

and What features would you like to see on UPS that aren't currently fitted on marketed products ?

Have used UPS for over 20 years.
Since having one week end with over dozen half second to few second power cuts...

Unless power is very stable with problems only like couple times a year, everyone able to afford high end graphics card should be able to afford UPS.
Also at least in online team based games would consider it rude to not care about others in team.

I use several - the phones are VOIP, so the internet router and DECT basestation are on a UPS (as are the POE WLAN APs and network switches).
And the desktop PCs because NTFS journalling has got better over the years, but still.
Oh and the homelab is too.

I mean, why wouldn't you use a UPS?
