DQ6 Overclocking

Hi, i have a Gigabyte DQ6 and a e6420 and want to overclock the processor, its on stock cooling at the moment and want to get a bit more juice out if and to learn how to overclock for when i get a watercooling setup.

the rest of my comp is in my sig except the graphics card (7300gt)

would it be differant with the type of ram i have, on one of the guides it says they are using gskill 5300 but i am using Crucial Ballistix 6400C4

The gigabyte mobos are some of the less complicated to clock.

Have a look here, however this guy uses 1.6v on his CPU which not many people would.

Ignore the vmods page, it seems totally unecessary with the stock overclocking performance.

Don't use that one as that for the new P35 DQ6 And not the P965 DQ6 You got.

Petty much same setup but just to be safe use this one wich is used for the DS3 thread

thanks, the motherboards are pretty much the same except for the DQ6 being about £40 more and having more transistors.
