Dr Dre - Compton?

It's All on Me, All in a Day's Work, Darkside/Gone have grown on me, the first of those in particular is pretty funky.

I'm not as keen on some of the featured artists on this as I was on 2001, but for sure Dre is on this quite a bit, he's switching up his style more than previously though.
 
Weren't some Detox tracks leaked a while back? I heard one called front page stardom and another called topless that seemed pretty decent. Not sure why he didn't like the album, but its a shame he didn't just release it anyway.
 
Was a bit of a let down for me too.

The two old school Dre tracks, Its All On Me and Talking To My Diary, are superb.. But Medicine Man is by far my favorite..

That's due to Eminem tho, the guy is a monster.
 
The sad thing is that the press are all over him for that controversial lyric and are missing how good the rest of his lyrics are.

I'm absolutely loving the two tracks he did for the Southpaw soundtrack too, I feel like in the last couple of years he has stopped trying to release songs that will be a commercial success and is just concentrating on the quality of his flows.
