As the traffic in Bristol isn't great I often want to just jump on the bike and nip into town rather than take the car and sit in traffic. Naturally I'm a good boy and put all my protective stuff on but I'm not a fan of having to walk around in all my gear in town, especially not when the weather gets a bit warmer.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of Draggin jeans or similar as they seem to be a decent enough compromise. The YouTube videos seem to indicate that they'd be ok in a spill but what are they like to walk around in? Are they bulky and cumbersome or do they just feel like regular jeans?

Sounds like jeans of some sort are gonna be ok, are Draggin worth the extra money or are RST/Aussie just as good quality?

What are they like for sizes? I'm normally about 32-34" waist with 34" inside leg. Should I get 36" waist to allow for the extra padding and stuff?

I got the Aussie Biker ones in the end myself. Fortunately I haven't tried them out properly (ie by sliding down the road) but they're nice and comfortable and look pretty much like regular jeans.

Did you end up getting them on eBay? I've got a couple of pairs now and really like them. They seem to have larger areas of kevlar/aramid than my last Hood jeans did.

I think that was the only place I found them.

I went for Black and so far I've got no complaints really.
