Hey,

Picked this up during the Steam sale over christmas and whilst I'm enjoying the world and individual stories I'm struggling like crazy :(

I've been through Redcliffe and dealt with Conner but everywhere else I go I'm struggling. I tried the mages tower and can't get past the 3rd floor (lots of templars + desire demon) and then the abomination right after that.

Scrapped that save and tried Ozrammar and got butchered before I even got in. 5 times in a row :\

Gave up on that and now at the Brecillian Forest and being doing quite well here. However after entering the elven tombs I start getting stuck again. Killed the little dragon in there and pushed on. Follow the ghostly boy and get ambushed by lots of undead stuff.

At this point I get butchered and cut down completely and nothing I try seems to work :(

Any tips?

Current party is Morrigan, Alistair and Shale. I'm a Human Noble going down the warrior path too - starting to get a bit fed up :\

I'd recommend doing the Mages' Tower first, so you can get Wynne who's a great healer. Although if you're struggling there, then you might have to drop the difficulty. The hardest early-game part for me was Redcliffe Village - the attack before going to the castle destroyed me.

After that, my part almost entirely consisted of Wynne, Morrigan and Leliana. Morrigan can CC well, with cone of cold, Wynne can heal, and Leliana can DPS from a distance. I then went for the sword and shield warrior, and tanked. By the end, nothing could touch me.

Get the respec mod if you want. Lets you change your party from there sometimes completely useless skills/specs *cough* Morrigans Shapeshifter *cough* to something useful (ie Healer pre Wynne).

Its advisable to do the Mages Tower first, especially on a first play. Wynne is pretty much vital as she's the healer and the Templars should hopefully not have there ridiculous bolt spell that instagibs mages and half your party the moment you start the fight. Then you get all the nice stat bonus' in the fade too.
