Thanks, bit odd that you can not just turn it on later!
 
I can not get the game to run in 4k, the option is greyed out 1440p is the highest I can select.

Any ideas? I have tried windowed, boarderless and fullscreen with no luck :( Game is great so far though only and hour or so in.
 
Try messing around with the .ini file? I imagine you will be able to set what you want there.

C:\Users{YourUserName}\Documents\my games\DRAGON QUEST XI\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

I just searched dragon quest in the windows start thing and it came up with the right directory

Thanks, yeah I figured it out just come back here to tell people to do the same if they had the same problem all sorted now.

Strange though because when you google it there are loads of articles saying how it has native 4k support so not sure why it wouldn't let me select it normally!.
