Just ordered this game i here its great if your a big final fantasy fan which i am by the way :)
Anyone else got this game and what you think about it.

Ive bought the game for £11 and the strategy guide for £12 so the book is worth more :p :)
 
I got it for a Christmas present and I've played about 25+ hours of it now. The voice acting is amazingly good, probably the only game where I'm not wishing it still had the original Japanese actors.

The graphics are pretty decent considering it's running on a PS2 because it's cell shaded.

I think the only thing I don't like is how easy it seems to be. But I might of just played too many RPGs.
 
nice price for such a quality game and it took me 60 odd hours to complete it, one of the best RPG ever imo.

Assuming that you are on about DQ8: Journey of the Cursed King for the PS2 and not DQ7 for the original PS1

Well not exactly. The dragon quest series use to be made by Squaresofts rival Enix. But of course now they've merged both series are made by the same company. I think the creative types behind both series have still been kept separate for the most part (although Toriyama has worked worked with Squaresoft while also working with Enix before the merger).
 
This is the first one to be released in this country isn't it? Quite strange considering this series is bigger than FF in Japan.
