Here's a quickie....

Not a fan of playing with 'others' even if they're human or forced AI.

Can Dragon's Crown be played just me on my own with 1 character going through the stages?
All the reviews I read spend so much time banging on about co-op and multiplayer they don't really say what the single player game is like.

It's basically an RPG-lite version of Golden Axe. There are multiple characters with some differences in how they play but the vast bulk of the game is just a side-scrolling beat/hack-em-up. The enemies are all pretty interchangeable and the story was so bad I can't even remember it.

I'd suggest watching a few videos on YouTube, if you like what you see then go for it. Personally I found it got very repetitive within a few hours playing solo. I'd imagine playing co-op would liven it up a lot just for the banter.

I played it on the Vita for about 15 hours or so singleplayer and enjoyed it.
I'm never fussed about multiplayer, but I can see how it would make this game better.

Give it a go I say.
