Draining water loop

does any 1 have any advice or guides on how to drain a water loop?

I unscrew the bottom of my res and remove the barb. Saves cutting

design you loop better so that yo can drain it in the first place ..

I put a T in the lowest spot (just before the inlet to my rad) - unscrew the stopper and job done

I put the hose from a vacuum pump into the top of the res and suck it out, then unplug one of the hoses form the res and plug it into the vacuum pump hose and suck out the rest of the system.

Pump cost £5 off a popular auction site bout 3 years ago, ive used it for loads of things this being the latest thing its useful for

I use a 150ml syringe with a bit of rubber tubing on the end to suck out what I can out of the res, so I can unscrew 1 of the res ports and blow through the rest into a bottle.
