DRAM error

Friends, I have a problem — the DRAM LED is lit red.

Motherboard: B650E AORUS STEALTH ICE
RAM: Corsair 2x32GB DDR5 5600MHz
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D

I sent the system to a repair service, and after diagnostics they said the RAM is working and the motherboard is also fine. From what I understood, by process of elimination they concluded that the only component not tested was the CPU. I returned that CPU and bought a new one, but the same issue still persists.

Also, when I powered it on today, the RGB lighting on the fans and motherboard (which are synchronized) flickered a couple of times, and after that the lighting stopped working completely (I read in Amazon reviews that this has happened with this motherboard before). On top of that, Q-Flash stopped working as well.

Initially I updated the BIOS to version F12 or F13 (not exactly sure), when Q-Flash was still working.

I have tried different RAM slots, as well as testing one stick at a time and swapping them, but nothing changed.

The DRAM LED stays red even when no RAM sticks are installed, and even when the PC is turned off but still connected to the PSU.

The socket pins look perfect.

I’m very confused at this point and no longer understand what the cause could be.

“Well, we have now tested the system with a new motherboard and new RAM, and the exact same issue is still occurring. This means we have replaced and ruled out both the RAM and motherboard.The only major component left that has not been changed is the CPU, so unfortunately all signs now point towards that being the fault causing the no display issue and RAM indicator error.The RAM warning light can also indicate a CPU-related fault, and based on all the testing we have carried out, along with the diagnostic indicator, the CPU can only be the issue at this stage unfortunately”
 
I find it hard to understand what has happened exactly.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

1. Your new motherboard, RAM and CPU did not post (black screen / no boot) and displayed a RAM error.

2. You sent the components to a repair shop. They say the motherboard and RAM work.

3. You went and purchased a new CPU.

4. The PC then worked.

5. You attempted to update the BIOS (When did you do this? With what method?)

6. The PC then worked.

7. The PC now (how long after?) no longer boots and displays the same RAM error you had before.
PC never worked, at the first launch was dram error.

are you still within the RMA period?
if you are, i would honestly say just to send it all back and start again.
no need to spend extra money and messing around further just increases the chance you break a part inadvertently
Yes, in RMA. But I’m confused. Anyway I will return motherboard to amazon because LED is dead.
