im using a Rampage 2 extreme and it has 2 DRAM voltages labelled ....

QPI/DRAM CORE VOLTAGE (ihave set to 1,3)and DRAM BUS VOLTAGE (i have set to 1.65)....which one has the RAM voltage ie 1.65 on mine got to be set on, as the bus voltage on auto sets to 1.79 which if its the ram voltage is way to high ..HELP!!

sayso

QPI/DRAM voltage is what is normally called "Uncore voltage", stock at 1.2V. DRAM Bus Voltage is your normal RAM voltage, which is normally 1.5V or 1.65V depending on the type of RAM you have.

good thats what i thought just wondered why when i have my ram set to 1600 (rated at 1800) it sets auto voltage to almost 1.8...bastardoo

I would be careful with auto voltage, i put my i7 to that by accedient and it tried to put 1.5v through it, only noticed cos my rad felt like it was on fire!

don't know where they get these auto settings from, you can always kick it down loads!! wonder if you would have a case if auto settings damaged your kit, especially on a board advertised as a "O/C" board?
