Dramless nvme?

Seen a lot of 2tb nvme drives going cheap and they dont have dram. Was wondering if they would be ok for a games drive or is dram essential?

It is not needed for games, at least with how SSDs are used for now. I wouldn't want a QLC drive though, if I could avoid it.

I have one as storage on my PC its a Samsung Evo 980 1tb and it seems to work fine.
