I am attempting to add a Draytek AP912C to my Draytek 2862n router to improve WiFi access around the building. I have put the same WiFi details from the router into the access point but found that, whilst I can connect to the Internet via the access point I lose all LAN connections.
For example, when only using the router’s WiFi, my iPad can print to my wireless printer. When the access point is on, I can no longer connect to the wireless printer. However wired LAN connections can still print. I cannot ping the iPad from a wired PC.
The access point is on the same subnet (192.168.0.x) and yet seems to stop devices attached to it from talking to the rest of the LAN. Is there a secret setting somewhere that I have to enable or disable for this to work? This thing is driving me daft!
