Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I recently tried:

Code:
vdsl snr -50

And my downstream has gone from 55 mbit to near 70 mbit.

It's odd as with the normal BT modem it stays at 55. It's been stable like this for several weeks.

This may help any other 130 users with a long line. The cab is ECI, not sure if this makes a difference.

Code:
> vds sn
Usage:
vdsl snr [delta]
delta: SNR margin delta. The SNR margin delta should range from -50 to 50.
  delta=1 means 0.1dB.
Current VDSL SNR Margin is 3 dB.
Current VDSL SNR Margin delta setting is -50.
> vds sn 0

Unfortunately DLM can be a bit Nazi like, you're just going to have to wait. If it's sync'd at 67 dead on then it may have banded you. The only way to get it removed beyond waiting, is a DLM reset.

How do you find out what type of cabinet you're connected to? I already get ~70Mbps, so I don't really see the need to fiddle right now.
If you have a Vigor 130 then vdsl stat will tell you. Google the vendor.

DSLAM CHIPSET VENDOR : < IFTN > is ECI.

Does this command need to be re-input in the event of a modem rebbot?
Not that I'm aware of.

For the purposes of an update, my modem is still sync'd at 67000, compared to the 50 something it was before. It appears I'm banded by Plusnet/DLM, but it's been rock solid since the OP.

Annoyingly my SNR has gone to 4 and my line has dropped to 59Mbit from the 67Mbit. It looks banded (again) looking at the stats.

strange these stats shouldn't suggest a unstable line which would end up resulting in a banded line.
It's been rock solid for ages so I don't understand why it's dropped. I'm not sure if it's worth the effort of speaking to PlusNet about it as I'm certain a DLM reset will sort it, but whether I can convince them to arrange an engineer is another story.

Ok thanks.

Read a couple of people’s comments on the Draytek forum stating that the BT firmwares don’t work well on the 130 if you are on an ECI cabinet and to use the alternative version.
Oh really? My sync has dropped to 59Mb and I'm using the BT firmware on an ECI cabinet.
