Thought this might be fun, sorta been in motors forum but not for us bikers...

List 5 bikes that you would like in a perfect garage, can be old, classics, modern kit whatever.

I'd skip modern stuff and just have some classics, all mint condition of course. In no order...

1. Honda NR750

2. Honda RC30

3. Suzuki RG500 Gamma

4. Yamaha RD500

5. Ducati 888 Superbike

6. BSA Gold Star (couldnt leave it out)

I think all the above would draw a bigger crowd at a bike meet than any modern kit....and are all bikes that make my heart race

As a technical curiosity I'd love to own:

Suzuki's RE5 rotary,

Honda's inline 6 1000cc CBX,

and KTM's military diesel bike.

And two practical bikes to actually use:

A triumph scrambler,

and one of the few HDs I'd ever ride.

I have an RC 30 Needs a new battery though.. Shame its just a remote control toy LOL.

Theres an NR750 for sale on the bay of the flees its going for just over one hundred thousand :eek:

I think that is abit overpriced, there is a 4k miler on bike trader for 38,000

a lot of money though, but thats the price you pay for oval ceramic piston goodness. 32 valves also should make for expensive services

That said i think this is one of the most iconic shapes ever:

Slightly better looking than the 916 and I think a more 'complete' package.

Only 1 down from these 2 which are joint 1st (never ridden either but it has crossed my mind to race either. ):

I give you the BMW S1000RR - showing the japs how it should be done! and:
