Very impressive Dreamcast collection
I notice you have a lot of Japanese games, what are the fighting games like in Japanese? I assume their isn't much text or reading you need to do in them.
Just bought Guilty Gear X anyway so I guess I'll see myself
Also bought new:
Metropolis Street Racer
Chu Chu Rocket
Virtua Tennis
Cannon Spike
Outrigger
Hoping my Dreamcast turns up tomorrow now so I can try some of these out, it's awful having games and nothing to play them on.
EDIT:
WOO! It turned up today with my arcade stick.
Got it connected via RF as that's all it came with but even so it looks very impressive on my TV, I can't wait to see what it looks like through SCART or VGA when the cables turn up.
Gave Sonic Adventure a whirl first, the controls are tricky due to the camera and the speed you're travelling at a lot of the time but I like it.
Tried Street Fighter Alpha 3 with the arcade stick and although it will take a bit to get used to it, I might finally be able to pull of those awkward 360 moves that are so difficult with a pad. It looks a lot nicer than the PS version anyway, and appears to have a lot more modes.
Finally I stuck in Skies of Arcadia, ah the memories came flooding back. I never actually finished it on the Gamecube (got up to the underworld dig), it looks as good as I remember, maybe even better.
I love the rumble pak as well.
Overall I wish I'd picked up a Dreamcast earlier, it's great.
I'll go and have a blast at Crazy Taxi now.
