Just finished this on my 360 (backwards compatible). Absolutely brilliant game, did anyone else play it when it first came out? When i was looking around for it a few weeks ago it became clear that its fairly sought after, no online shops had it in stock, so I had to stump up £24 on ebay, but it was well worth it.

For anyone that hasn't played it and might be interested, its a cross between Monkey Island and The Nomad Soul. It's not a hard game but the story is great. The ending was awesome and I hope they sort a sequal out.

It's out on PC too (available through Steam i think). Anyone interested in Monkey Island type games... get it!

Then convince me to play it!! :p

I've had it a while, And for some reason I just can't bring myself to play it.

I played it for about an hour and a half a few months ago and havent touched it since.

There is a sequel out for pc only though im pretty sure. Hope it makes it too the 360 may be tempted. Or a monkey island game :D

Name confused me. Think it was just called the Longest Journey on the PC, plus it must be about 8 years old it was that long ago I played it. I can understand why it's not stocked much, why pay that much for a 360 game when you can run it on a 486

The Longest Journey was the original game and was released a few years back. Dreamfall is the sequel and was released last year as has been mentioned by Ripper^.

I got around half way through it and then got stuck :o Havent played it since, although i really should give it another go as it was great up to that point.

I've had a PC copy lying around for months and until last week hadn't even got so far as installing it.
Finally get round to putting the disc in the drive and find out its a Starforce game. Brilliant :( Back to the shelf with that then.

Quite tempted to get it off Steam though. Maybe in a few months when the price comes down a bit.

A great game no doubt about that. But The longest journey? took me 3 days to finish it :( . Thats the trouble with good interactive RPGs, over way too soon! Another revelation was the French masterpiece, Farenheit. Looking forward to its sequel if they do make one.
