Found out recently that a friend had been having a couple of similiar dreams, freaked me out a bit, I dont know much about why dreams happen or what causes them, wondering if any of you have any of these recurring themes?

Not being able to punch someone? Throwing it and just as it gets to them it slows right down or grazes off them?

Or a dream where you can never get anything done, usualy miss a plane or trip and it repeats itself?

They sound like they could be incredibly vague and common themes in dreams to be honest. Ive only done a small amount of psychology but it seems run of the mill in the same way reading your star signs just tells you vague things that are common to most people. Certain themes occur a lot in peoples dreams as it just reflects moods and current state of mind.

I keep having one where I am like massively acrobatic, like parkour style stuff where I can hold and balance on small ledges and jump anywhere and everywhere. Weird.

I can't remember the last time I dreamt. Don't sleep heavy enough or long enough these days after so many meds from my ill health days.

Ok if this is how its going down. Similar restrictive one like the punching one. There have been multiple dreams where when I try to run, my body is moving at full running speed yet I am moving slower than walking speed, usually running to or from something and making no progress. Frustrating, then I wake up and have some cheerios.

i've had the punching one, you go to punch them and you just can't bring your arm around to do it, like you have no control, i also had a weird dream that i had speakers on my arms and i can fly from the bass........

too much music for me i think

Not having you on. About 10 years ago i had a dream about some amusement park and riding on some rollercoaster, a mate had a dream about a fun fair of some sorts and shooting ducks during the same week, only mentioned my dream to him because i had never been on a rollercoaster. A week later we got news that a good mate of ours who had emigrated died in a robbery/mugging at an amusement park in Florida the same week we had our weird dreams. Not a believer in superstition but it was damn freaky.

Hot girl in my uni class told me she had a dream about me the other night. I can only hope it was a good one :D

I keep dreaming that I can float and sort of fly.

Analyse me please.

I had dreams like this as well when I was younger. There was one where I was holding a balloon and floating. I think I also had dream where a car had hit me and I floated in the air.

My teeth used to hurt as well I think because I have been clenching my teeth in my sleep.

I had an eventful dream the other day where I actually realised I was dreaming! I frantically tried to remember what to do if this happens and I thought it was start counting however I got to 3 and woke up sitting upright in my bed. I was mistaken though as I read that you are supposed to spin round in a circle to stay within the 'lucid dream'.

It was so surreal.

Try and look at the time in your dreams, that one is weird. Either you can't make out what time it is, or one minute you'll look at its 3.15, look a few seconds later and its 8.45...
