Can anyone recommend a place to get a decent dremel kit at a lower price.

They really vary depending on the site and model.

Anyone here recommend any particular model for case modding?...... ie. Cutting windows, drilling holes, sandng, smoothing etc....

dremmels aren't really that good for cutting windows etc.

Dremels do have their uses occasionally, but as mentioned they are not the best thing to use for windows, blowholes etc. Your mutch better off using a jigsaw for cutting, and a set of needle files for filling it smooth.

dremels only come in handy when you need little touches here and there, to cut blow holes use a tank cutter and for windows use a jigsaw.

i just bought a cheapo version, all the fittings are the same but it was half the price.
