as the title suggests is it a good idea clean a leather sofa with a drill buffer - or is this asking for trouble - trying to save on elbow grease

How dirty is it?

cream coloured leather, takes ages with leather cleaner and rag to get clean after kids have spilt ****e all over them.

I wouldnt try it personally but if you really want to no do it with elbow grease then a orbital polisher/buffer would be better perhaps? A drill attachment will obviously only spin in one place and may be difficult to get an even "clean"? Could try it on the back perhaps or the reverse or a cushion or something?
