Meh, uni, the worst was going into town, drinking 12 shots of vodka in 5-10 mins before spoons closed, thank god they wouldn't serve triple's or I'd be even worse. I basically don't remember from then, that was after drinking throughout a footie match earlier and then going into town to celebrate/comiserate i can't remember.
From then the story goes that, I walked along taking a leak in the road, walking right past 2 cops who apparently weren't impressed, got a stop and search ticket apparently which I found in the morning. when they radio'd in my name I apparently yelled "and he's drunk" to the person on the other end and almost got arrested.
Walked back to uni, I ran off, into a forrest, which from the map the next day is around 5/6 miles to where I came out.......
I "came too" walking through a forrest in the middle of the night with a slight moon with zero idea where I was, which direction to go, in winter so it was all huge tree's with no leaves. I woke up in the freaking blair witch project absolutely cacking myself. Picked a direction, came upon an industrial estate some time later, found a guy outside on a smoke break. Went to ask him if he could phone a cab for me as I had no idea where I was or local cab number, but I forgot and asked him for a rollie, about 10 mins later I remembered about the cab, went into factory with all manner of metal pressing/cutting equipment, phoned for a cab, went and had another ciggarette, stopped at a petrol station on the way back , bought porn????? went home, woke up late for the next day.
So much bad crap could have happened, I drank heavily on other nights, even drank pretty hard the night after and was out till about 4am and got a lift home from my mates place from the pizza guy who knew where I lived already as he delivered to us all the time(also a bad sign)
It freaked me out, don't think I ever got anywhere near as bad again throughout uni, or since. I rarely drink now just because I tend to not really enjoy it anymore.
But for me, heavy drinking stemmed more from depression and not feeling comftable at uni, rather than just drinking to get battered for the sake of it.
Blacking out is simply a waste, I'll try to never do it again, because its a waste of cash, time, memory and that one night you do something really stupid/terrible you'll end up dead or losing a good friend by saying the wrong thing.
It was weird that no matter how bad you are you can mostly get home fine even if you don't remember how you did it. There's blacking out where you simply can't retain the memory but weren't actually out of control, and theres blacking out where you can't remember it and you went completely bonkers and were a danger to yourself and others. Really if you're doing the later very often somethings wrong.
