Drinking too much

you need to want to stop in order to actually stop. your posting history tells me you're making excuses and justifying your drinking. really not good signs. coming on here and posting you're going to stop is fooling no one, least of all yourself. you need to get proper help fella.
if you think turning to alcohol is the way to deal with what you perceive to be a **** life then you are in for a hell of a big shock. you only think your life is **** now. you keep drinking the way you are and what you'll get to see what a **** life is really like - and that's if you're lucky.

I agree

I popped into Tesco earlier and i was standing by the wine wondering / wanting to buy a bottle! It was hard as i really felt like a drink after work!

I didnt buy one though! Hope i am strong enough to stay away from it.

This is a weird thread. People treating the OP as if he’s an alcoholic for drinking 2 or 3 times a week over a few months. Not even close.

The problem seems to be depression and difficult circumstances, not alcohol. I’m not saying alcohol doesn’t impact on depression but alcohol is not the primary problem here.

Hope things get better for you OP.

Waw! So very true! This is absolutely the truth. You are 100% correct.

Life is the pits. At the very bottom of life now.

Alcohol is an escape but, a temporary escape. One that cannot be relied upon. I am fighting reality day by day.

Thank you my friend
