Drinking with the old man

I can hold my beer pretty well but by no means could I ever keep up with my Dad the guys been a beer drinking machine for as long as I can remember, slowed down a little in his old age though I must admit.

So to answer the question no. :p

Not beer, but whenever I go home I take my dad out for coffee so we can discuss politics, philosophy, war, etc! Maybe it has something to do with being Greek?

Me (18) Dad (49) and Brother (23). Went out for a drink Saturday night.

Turned into a little drinking competition.

:p Yeah i came last

My GF and I regularly pop back to Kent to visit our parents. When we do, I nearly always go to the pub with my dad on the Friday night. We've always been really close - he's probably my best mate!

My Dad was (he's dead now) the best friend I had, had a drink with him on many occassions, even though he has been dead for 17 years, I still miss him and his company. :)

Mine always tries to get me to drink with him(which I normally wouldnt mind) since that way my mother could not tell him anything about drinking too much etc. He wasnt very flattered with my idea to(almost) stop drinking alcohol about a year ago.

Me, my brother and Dad used to go out on the beer all the time and it was great as we shared the same stupid, filthy sense of humour. I owe my taste for real ale to him - he used to berate me endlessly about drinking "that gassy crap" when I went through my lager-drinking phase. Sadly, he passed away three years ago, so those days are gone.

I have a new drinking buddy now though - my father in law. I seem to end up in a pub with him most weekends, especially during the summer months ...

I go out down the pub with my dad nion every saturday night.

Now when I walk in the pub all of HIS mates go "hey jake" lol its awsome :D
