drinking

Probably not. But having said that I've just got back from a club and I'm fairly jolly, and I have a maths tutorial at 9am :p

Drunks good, you can recover from it easy and it wont kill ya. Just dont do what i did and end up trying to ruin your life/work/friends. ;) :o

Dont make a habbit of it. :)

Beer stimulates the brain follicles and makes my jokes funnier and the women around me prettier, even on a Monday night. Beer <3

BOOZE always taste nicer when its for free :D so i'd say its always good for ya to get drunk on free booze, just when ya pay for it its like the day after and all ya cash is gone and then its like that could have been BF2142 e.g. LOL

It isn't healthy to be drunk, period.

Isn't it

Please provide evidence (not hearsay) to prove that getting drunk occasionally is detrimental to one's health?

Stan :)

PS: In the UK we say full stop - not period ;)

and when you go out determined not to spend much and then as the night rolls on you spend more and more. Then the next day when you regret how much you spent to make matters worse you have a long shift at work with a huge hangover and think never again.

So long as you're not drunk in the actual lecture—which you won't be—and you can wake up in time, what's the problem?

Edit: also I hate you party animals I'm still analysing Baron d'Holbarch's System of Nature for my 10am seminar

wtf, thats twelve hours away, i used to get hammered in week days until 4-5am, then am in work at 8am

there were two of us that do desktop support for the whole company (about 300 people), could do the work blind, so being blind drunk/hungover made little difference

the only bad thing was plugging in psu leads or sorting out network cables under desks with a bad hangover, had to lie on the floor and go under the desks, had to run to the bogs to be sick a few times after that..

-also, its a lecture, we used to get smashed between lectures, let alone the night before, lol

I usually go out monday night, get in at 3am, beyond smashed... up for 7ish and in the car about half 7... to drive 50 odd miles to Stafford to be ready for a 9am lecture.

Oh, I kill a few kids down on the way granted, but I get through.

I'm curious about this too, I suppose it depends exactly how you define drunk but as long as it isn't every night then I really can't see much in the way of harm from occasionally drunk.

For the original poster if you were drunk at 2am then I really doubt you will have much of a problem getting up for a 2pm class.

Depends how often you get drunk and how often you end up with cage dancers Stan ;)
