Hi all,

I have a 250GB SATA drive i need to install into my HP Proliant box. However it doesnt have the array rails etc attached to it.

For example...

I need the drive to look like this...

At the moment it looks like a normal SATA drive and will just flop about if i plug it into the array as it is.

Any ideas to adapt it?

Cheers.

You'll need the proper tray to support the drive without putting too much strain on the connectors. It's possible that you could use some cardboard or other non conducting material to build up under the drive to support it in the short term but I'd go and start looking on auctions for an empty tray.
