Drive config help needed

I currently have a 1TB samsung as my main drive, I have bought a used Crucial 128GB C300 SSD.

My mobo (Asus P8 Z77-V Pro) allows me to use the SSD a a cache drive.

My qustion is what do you guys think I should do.

Use the 1TB as main drive & the SSD as a cache

or

Use the SSD as my main drive?

use the ssd as your main drive,1tb as storage drive

caching works fine but only uses 64gb maximum,the rest is unused space,just set to ahci in the bios,install windows onto the ssd(unplug 1tb beforehand) once doen plug in 1tb and set the ssd as first/main boot drive in bios and once in windows download/install latest intel storage drivers and thats it

If you install it as a cache drive what's involved in removing it if you change your mind? If it's nothing major then why not try it? It must be quicker and easier than reinstalling all of your applications from scratch.

you still have to set to raid mode though for caching so a re install would still be needed,unless you do the reg hack/install raid drivers

Opted to set the SSD up as my main drive
