Drive damaged on boot report?

Hi all,

Have an old WD Hdd that reports as damaged by my abit mobo (ab9 quad gt) on boot. It no longer appears in windows but recovery software can still see the drive.... as can WD diagnostics.

Any chance of me recovering the data?
