Recently the 2TB storage drive I've got in the bottom of the rig has been under performing. Films start to pixelate about 2 mins in, and then the display just goes grey.
So yesterday I launched a scan using the the windows utility in 'My computer'. I turned it off after 9 hours because it was only about 10% of the way in, and was looking like it was going to take a week to complete.
This isn't ideal for me because my rig goes off at night.
Is there any software I can use that is a bit quicker? Active Smart shows the 'performance and reliability' of the drive as low.
Or is the drive borked?
