Drive is showing up in BIOS and W10 Disk Management but I can't see it in my computer?

The drive will need an NTFS partition on it if it hasn't already got one, and you need to assign a drive letter to it in Disk management.

Is the drive allocated? What does it say exactly in Disk Management?
not home just now, but from what I can remember it was just unallocated space, and I couldn't give it a drive letter, I could only create a simple volume on it.

You need to create the simple volume before you can use it. At the moment it's just "Raw" unformatted disk space.

Yeah that's what you need to do, then you will be able to use it. You give it a drive letter when you create the simple volume and it then becomes allocated.
