Drive letters all gone!

So, i updated the sata drivers and then boom, all my sata drives no longer have drive letters and all just show as "unallocated" space. Help!!! what can i do to recover them, i want to try just renaming the drive but worry that will then format the thing.

btw all the drives seem healthy os im protty sure it was the sata driver that borked everything

just tired system restore, it failed and now tells me there are no restore points. just gave one drive a letter but cant access, just tell me it needs to be formatted.

partition wizard found the partition, restored it but i still cant access the data, what the F??? what am i doing wrong??
