I have a 1tb Lacie NAS which is very very slow transferring across my LAN (despite a GE port) so i have decided to remove it and use it elsewhere. Its now removed and in my Sharkoon docking station, windows detects it correctly and it shows up in disk manager as healthy primary partiton. However, i am unable to allocate a drive letter or do anything except delete volumes.
It shows as basic - 931GB - online and has 6 small partitions then one large 929Gb one.

Im keen to keep it but cannot use it, anyone have any ideas what i can try?

Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

I'm going to assume your Lacie NAS doesnt use FAT or NTFS as it's filestructure. If no one in this storage forum can help, try the Servers/Enterprise one.

or whack it back in the NAS.... :)
