Hi.

Space is at a premium in my new build. I've made a lot of changes to my case and my measurements have worked out as planned, which is good for me.

Anyway the question, after having a bit of a brainwave last night I think 2.5 drives ( not ssd ) would look better in the build.

Is there any real difference in reliability between a 2.5 hdd and a standard hdd?

Do they run warmer? Are the larger capacity drives ok?

Cheers

Personally I think they are much of a muchness with their larger bretheren. However I cannot back that up at all. I think the only real difference is you pay more for less with smaller drives.

I think when I next build a rig for myself I will go small form factor and do away entirely with mechanical drives. One large ssd for apps etc and storeage on my nas.
