Basically I was looking through my drive lettering in windows and thought... why oh why is there still a drive A and B. no one I know still uses floppy disks or even has a floppy drive in their pc. So why still have those letters reserved? Why cant they be dynamic like other drive lettering for hds and opticals. Although everyone knows their boot disks as drive C and this would casue confusion...

Anyhow my point is, isnt it time for a revolution on the way drives are sorted? Either making them labled by number, or at least starting with the boot disk at A?

thats true, bios updates and such sometimes still need floppys, but most things should be a lot more dynamic these days. Meh. Interested about the comment about windows 7 though...
