I have an 80GB drive that was working fine up until I moved the 7 drives from my old computer into my new one.
It doesn't seem to be getting any power; when I turn on my machine I can't feel the drive spinning up.
I was a silly sausage and left some files on that drive that weren't backed up. Oops. So I'm thinking I might try to switch the board.
Has anyone had any experience with that? The drive model is WD800JD-00HKA0 and I'm not sure if I have to find that exact model, or a WD800JD from the same family. They all look the same.
