looking for a bit of reassurance on a problem i have been getting recently
gpus in question are the xfx xxx radeon 4890 in crossfire
seemed to start with random blue screens whilst gaming
the system sits there under prime/occt/linx with no problems
there seems to be nothing wrong with the overclock or the memory/cpu/board
so the issue seems to be a graphics/driver/software problem
the blue screens have stopped since i installed the 9.12 ccc
which is pretty good. i can now run stress tests on my graphics cards fine
things like 'fading effects' in games however come up with loads of flickering
for example, modern warfare 2 provides me with a horiffic flickery screen if a flashbang goes off near me. same with L4D2 if someone zaps me back to life.
i have gone back onto the 9.11 but not tested properly yet
anyone else experienced these problems with the 9.12s?
