I only found out about this game yesterday by accident. I looked at the IGN review and it definitely looks interesting, seems to run insanely smooth too.

I wasn't going to bother with this after the atrocious demo but all the reviews are in the 8-9 range so it's worth another look.

You can't play many games then a review is just someone else's opinion it means nothing compared to your own opinion.

I have played the demo and I don't like it at all it is nothing like the driver games of old.

if they developers had , had that much faith in it, they wouldnt have tacked on the stupid jumping from body to body bit.

the jumping from body to body thing felt absolutly stupid in the story, but made for some interesting multiplayer

might get it when its a lot cheaper

Yeh I've just watched the review and I'm not so sure about this gameplay style either. It just reminds me of the freeway scene in the Matrix Reloaded...

I hated to demo and the gameplay clips I've seen of the full game don't inspire me with much confidence. I also take reviews with a pinch of salt as they are often completly wrong imo. A friend of mine is getting the full game so I'm going to see what the finished version is like before making my final descision.

Got this in the post yesterday and haven't had a lot of time to play it yet but am liking what I've seen so far. Story is absolutely ridiculous (very Quantum Leap), but the presentation is pretty slick. Only tried split screen free roam from the multiplayer selection, which was a chuckle.

Tried the demo in the PS3, again UBI soft release a PS3 game that screen tears all over, and I wasn't all that impressed with the graphics either.. And I didn't take to the 'out of body quantum leap' type game style either..

I tried the demo, as I liked the idea of a cop racer style game, but demo really put me off...

I tried the demo on xbox, it was alright, bit too easy for my liking and it's definitley not something I would pay full price for.

Tried the demo, the whole shift thing is stupid.
Its a driving game, not a sci-fi game.
I was hoping for a nice mixture of the original Driver and the out of car style of Driver 3.
What a let down.

Yeah, it seems once again the reviewers say the exact opposite of what I'm thinking. They praise a game like Driver which imo was terrible from what I've played of it, and slate a great game like Bodycount which I really enjoy. That's why its best to make up your mind based on what you have to do and what the game is about, the graphics and gameplay videos if you see any and user reaction which gives a more honest score than biased or overly fussy reviewers. I very rarely get it wrong (the last time I did was Op Dragon Rising which was recommended to me by a friend at the time and turned out to be a terrible game, good thing I'm not friends with him anymore!).

Seems pretty fun from the demo - least its something a bit new.. and better than the old cack (minus the original ones on the psx!)
