Driver stopped working error??

This is very strange. My system would just freeze and the screen would be a dark Orange with a black border. Sometimes with artifacts!!

Add Prototype too: Can play the begining but not when you start the actual game! i.e. no powers

try reinstalling your drivers, than use driver sweeper to get rid of all traces in the registroy. than resinstall

than try if not than you know trouble shot time

When returning to the desktop, do you get this message; "Display driver atikmdag stopped responding and has successfully recovered."?

used to happen to me when i tried overclocking... some games liked it while others didnt

No I don't. It just freezes the system and I have to reboot. The last time, after Vista loads I got windows has recovered...then it went online and the report said that the display driver stopped working! But all the symptoms was the same.

Reinstalled 9.6 from ATI
Update...Act of war works windowed! (still love this game!) and full screen if you use the default profile.

Prototype works!
Sherlock Homes: demo crashes when you click on "New game" Tools.exe has stopped working.
