Anyone know of a good free driver updater I could use?

Just upgraded my dads computer and ofcourse he didnt keep any of the drivers! Spent long enough on this as it is so looking for a program which can download the drivers for me.

Thanks

Would highly recommend you don't download any 'driver updater' software as they're a prime culprit for bloat/spyware.

Have you tried googling the device ID's out of device manager?

The only one I trust is Snappy Driver Installer

Freeware, uses Driverpacks as it's source for the drivers.

I would still recommend taking a full system image before running it though.

Use Macrium Reflect to take an image.

The installer is small (under 1mb ish), but it needs about 9GB of space for the drivers, I keep mine on an external SSD.

Great for updating those weird and wonderful chipset drivers.
