I have an old ssd that I would like to use as a large, fast usb flash drive, but it seems it has a hard time being recognized by BIOS's etc.

Im guessing because of all the fancy chips needing drivers to work

Is there a super simple adapter/caddy which is driverless and would make the drive look like a usb stick to enable more universal usage?

Thanks

Search for 'USB to SATA cable' and a few will pop up from less than £10

Yes - I have tried a few of them but they all seem to require drivers which means that they dont appear in the BIOS

Have you found one that works in the BIOS? :)
