Hi all..

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these 1 week guaranteed pass driving courses that you hear about?

I could do with getting my license pronto but cant be bothered to do the normal 2-3 months of lessons so am consideing taking a week off work and doing it this way.

So, if you've got any experience, please share..

Chow for now

Hi there

It's been a good few years ago since I passed my driving test :p

Like you I was of the opinion a couple of lessons each week were useless and decided to do an intensive driving course - I done mine in Perth and it lasted Wed to Wed with my test being in the afternoon of the last day.

I found it extremely beneficial as i was pretty much driving all day (and sometimes early evening) in all sorts of conditions and all different types of roads giving me the chance to experience everything from morning rush hour to trying to park in a multi storey car park for the first time.

Am now intending on doing another driving course allowing me to sit my HGV course - I'd thoroughly recommend the intensive driving course option to anyone who is serious about wanting to pass

I did a weeks intensive course, after about 1 month of practicing in the mrs car.

However I spent many years riding motorbikes so learned a lot about the roads there, and transfered the knowledgoe over to the car. Passed first time, 1 minor. Haven looked back, warm, music, fags, and safer than a bloody bike.

The one i'm looking at is here:

http://www.drivingcourses.co.uk/

A 6 day course comes in at £629 and this is an all inclusive price including accommodation (its in blackpool)

It advertises a 74% pass rate, and a free retake if you fail.

Sounds pretty good to me. I've been putting it off for quite a while now, just because of the drawn out process that it is.

I have no patience :p

So does it sound good then do we think?

Cheers
