any other great simulators like forza on xbox?

im aware of testdrive unlim coming out this summer

Hmmmm your definition of "great simulators" is somewhat flawed :p

I think as mentioned previously the things that come close to Forza are the Toca Race Driver Need For Speed series and thinks like Juiced. There's no real equivalent otherwise.

Live for speed for life

S2 is either £12 or £24 depending if you allready have S1 or not.

The guys that are making it are releasing the game in stages, S1,S2 and S3 in the future, each edition on its own is £12.

Each edition brings drastic improvements to the game, it almost felt like a sequal when they updated it to S2 what with all the new features they added along with the improved graphics, i can't wait to see what S3 will bring when thats released :)

Evolution GT is probably the closest thing on PC, but it really does suck.

It's worth remembering that S2 is still at the alpha stage, theres plenty more improvements to come yet :)

I fully agree, i love all the NFS series up to Porsche Chellenge, they went crap when we hit all this ricing stuff IMO. Road challenge n a two player split screen as the police, now that was amazing, me and my mate would spend all night chasing cars and laying spike strips etc.

At times i do wish i was still a kid :p

wouldn't you say that £24 is slightly too steep?

I wouldn't personally, as it's a quality game in my opinion, though there is no licencing for cars, bar the BMW F1, they're constantly developing the game, fixing problems and has a strong online community.

It might be to some. But for me £24 that I paid in two installments for a game that has almost infinite replay value, it's good value to me.

Any game that isn't good for you, as an individual, will seem overpriced. GTR which has higher production values and more content per pound, just isn't the game for me and is overpriced seeing as I'd only play it for a couple of months. I've been playing LFS for three or four years.

Sorry, spelling mistake, i meant GPL :(
Ah thought you must have done. I found GTL quite easily. I've never played GPL but I post on a racing games site and there is a GPL online race league so I can ask them if they know of any places to get it. Apart from the auction sites I mean.

I might get GPL myself, I've seen the original graphics and the massive improvements the add-ons have brought to the game.
