Driving gloves?

We got some for my bro last year, he likes to use then when driving the camaro for extra purchase. :D

Please say know one here does.... please...!

Unless your hands are covered in sweat or other similar dodgey substances, i can't see how you could slip off. Especially if you use 2 hands like i don't!

ROFL!!! Driving gloves? For day to day driving? You're joking right!? :D

Even doing track days I haven't used driving gloves... I was going to do a poll but I'd have to ban everyone that says yes they do ;)

Nope, silly things. It would equate to full nomex gear to drive to Tesco.

Although In the winter I do have a pair of gloves in the car due to the fact that my hands sieze up when its proper cold.

I've got a pair of york fitness fingerless gloves for about £6.99 that I like to use when I'm driving, because:

A) the steering wheel in the fiat feels horrid and a bit small, the gloves are comfortable and make the wheel feel a bit meatier.

B) In warm weather my hands sometimes get quite sweaty and the gloves cancel that out.

My confession: I used to use driving gloves when traveling on the motorway.

Then again, I would also have worn a suit and a peaked cap if given the opportunity :p Makes me feel sophisticated and upper class, dontyouknow.

Got a pair of OMP and a pair of generic karting gloves for winter. I don't need them quite so much in the current Clio, but in the old one the gear knob was freezing, so they were a welcome addition. :)

I wear driving gloves :o

I like the extra grip it gives me on the wheel. It's also more comfortable on long journeys.

Warmed gloves on radiator just before going out front door, just feel nice in the winter.

Sweaty hands in the summer I find are quickly cooled by waving briefly out of the window.
