I had 7 lessons before doing my test, but that was pre-theory test and I'd driven around a trading estate for a few hours with my Dad. Basically told the instructor on my first lesson that I wanted to be put in for the test.
Well, I'd go one step further... I'd say someone who ends up taking that many lessons, or fails a certain number of times, aren't allowed to retake it for several years (if at all).[TW]Fox;13780148 said:I dont think I'll ever really understand why it takes some people 40-50 or even 60 lessons. I mean its not that hard, surely?

Usually because they don't have any way to practice outside of lessons, it depends where you live too, quite often you can spend 1/2 the lesson sitting in traffic just trying to get to a good area to practice whatever your instructor wants to do that lesson.[TW]Fox;13780148 said:I dont think I'll ever really understand why it takes some people 40-50 or even 60 lessons.
