In a similar vein, I've always been on the lookout for good gloves (warm,thin) that you can type in/with.

Had a couple pairs of SmartWool gloves, but they are a bit fragile and the weave isn't very dense.

I have some suede Thinsulate gloves which are still going strong after aboutb6 years, though getting a little shiny on the contact points.

They're kept in a purpose made box in the car.

I know they're a bit ***** but I find regular woolen fingerless gloves are really useful.

They keep you a bit warm but you can still use your phone, use your sat nav, roll a cigarette, whatever, also you get to pretend you're Fagin.
