DRONES

I can just see an ISIS attack in the works based off this thread.

Deep within a terrorist stronghold somewhere, evil plots being formed around the use of Parrot Drones. The confused DPD man turning up with an OcUK package for the terrorists who will be kicking off because they didn't get any Haribo.

Pretty sure not getting haribo in anyones order is enough to fuel acts of terrorism lol.

This thread has gone so far off topic.

I used to be fly model planes and that required bmfa membership which was basically insurance to cover you if flew it through someone's window or similar. I think drones should have the same sort of cover but tbh I don't think they will really go high enough to cause issues with air travel unless you are at the end of a runway then I imagine you'll get spotted..

Trains will kill passengers if they exceed 25 mph. Cars are only safe if a man walks in front with a red flag. If you sail too far you will fall off the edge of the world.

Bad people will always find a way to corrupt a new idea. Just because people can use things in an evil way doesn't mean that the things can't be used equally, or even more so, for good or enjoyment.

Can't believe what people are talking about in this thread, you do know rc helicopters have been around for a long long time and they don't pose a terrorist threat?

If you live in a private home, completely out of the view of the neighbours when in the garden, and liked to nudey sunbath, what would you do if a neighbour flew a drone with a camera over to your property?

If you also had a firearms permit, would you be within your rights to blast it out of the sky if it's above or spying on your private property? :D
