hi,
i have a problem with the sound volume dropping slightly then after afew seconds going back to normal.
i have watched the volume bar and it stays the same but you can hear the drop (from a range of 0-100 the drop is around 10-15).
this happens with onboard sound and with an asus xense.
i have disbaled the onboard sound in bios and it still happens.
it has only started to happen over the last week (before i got the xense) and i havent knowingly installed any sound software that i can think would cause this problem.
teamspeak, foobar, winamp, itunes, spotify, vlc, divx player, windows media player ALL have a solid volume but when i play black ops and medal of honour it happens. also listening to music on web browsers firefox, chrome the drop happens.
does anyone know how to narrow down the source of the problem ?
thanks for read the long ass post and for any help .
ps. im running win7(64)
cheers,
Jonny
