Looking for some online storage to share items with friends, family etc. A lot of people have been recommending Dropbox I was wondering if anybody on here is using it and what there experience with it is?

If anyone has an Invite I wouldn't mind one :)

Oooh, looks really good. I tried SkyDrive but don't like it because it doesn't intergrate with the OS. I don't want to have to fire up a web browser to share/access files, I just want to be able to "drop" them.

I've signed up for the beta but I'd also like an invite if anyone has one?

Integrating BETA software with the windows shell... madness

integration google software with windows shell is madness too!, the cleaner the better (faster):)

How else would you beta test it?

i wouldn't use it, that was kind of my point. I take great pride in my setup and the stability of all my machines, i'd prefer someone else did the testing ;)

That said if i had to i'd use a seperate testing box or an install in a VM. A lot of Windows problems have stemmed from over integration with the shell, a great example of this was internet explorer, it shared a lot of properties with windows explorer because it had a huge integration, causing stability and security problems.

That all being said i get your point :)

I like that this is very lighweight as well. Runs brilliantly bar a few minor features missing on Vista x64.

E-mail in trust, I have a few.

And I must add - this software is AWESOME! I know it is just user-friendly SVN, but it acts as a superb file syntool, versioning tool and backup.

Managed to get on the beta and so far I'm loving it. It's extremely simple and unintrusive to use and works very well.

Actually haven't got a lot more to asy about it! It does a very simple job, very simply and just works.

Am trying it too, liking the integration so far, as well as the fact that it keeps track of version changes. Also have a few invites available if anyone wants one.
