Dropped a gooly on BT internet

I am on BT internet BB using Firefox and Thunderbird - for a few months I have been getting emails from BT saying they are getting rid of BtYahoo mail and making it BTmail - I ignored these mails because it just said "hello" not addressed to Mr ****

Jumped in yesterday and changed and am now in a total mess - I have 2 main email addresses and 3 standby ones - the three stand buy ones seem to work but not two main ones - After poking and hoping I find two main are POP accounts and others Imap accounts - Now I am struggling in changing POP accounts to Imap

So if I uninstalled Thunderbird then re installed it would it then if I was quick enough to see it and tick Imap boxes set itself up as all Imap.

Why do BT change things when it's all up and running and working just fine.

All sorted now.

Changed a few passwords then left it for 2 days and as usual BT sorted it self out.

Why does it stress you out so much when things go wrong ??

Been telling my parents this for years (especially as they've moved countries a lot for work) but alas, they're too set in their ways to change now.

Because products need improvement. The previous system was based on Yahoo so they'd have been having to pay to use it.
