Dropped Camera

I was in a rush today so asked my daughter to grab my camera, of course saying be careful with it! A few minutes later she arrived "dad I dropped it, but only once", oh well.

Any way on start up it makes a grinding noise then goes quiet and behaves ok, auto focus still works, the view finder was way out of focus but I've adjusted it back into focus (dont think a drop could have moved it so far out of focus though), still takes photos ok too.

Any thoughts on what the grinding maybe, it does this with or without the lense, its a sony A200 so at least not too expensive (groping for a bright side).

Perhaps the screw connecting the auto focus mechanism and the lens got knocked about? Does it make the same noise if you switch between auto and manual focus?

Makes the same noise on startup in both modes, If it didn't work at all I'd rip it apart and have a look, but since it seems mostly ok I think I might make things worse if I take it to bits.
On the other Hand I'm concerned that this grinding is wareing something away and needs attention sooner than later.

It works fine after starting, only symptoms are the grinding and that the focus of the view finder was a long way out.
